Christmas Trees

As promised, here are the girls Christmas trees, decorated with ribbons.

Emily's tree is on the left, all tied up with red and lime green ribbons. Phoebe's tree on the right, has more of a purple and turquoise colour scheme happening, with a bit of "whatever" tied in.

Six little ablums...

Six little albums for six girlfriends.

One of Emily's friends is leaving school this year. On the weekend the girls organised a little surprise party for this friend. I offered to make little albums for them to have a keepsake of their friendship.

I used papers from the s.e.i. sweetie range, to made very basic little albums. Each page had a photo, finished with a Heidi Swapp photo corner, with the opposite page left blank for a signature. The books were bound with ribbon, with more ribbon tied to the spine. Making Memories rub-on letters were used to write "friends" on each cover.

The girls had a great time at their party, and they loved the books.

ribbon Christmas trees

I found these little wire Christmas trees recently and bought two! (because that's just what I do).

Decorating these little trees became a Christmas project for the girls. I told them they could choose whatever ribbon they wanted and sent them outside. Here's some photos of the activity in progress. The trees are not quite finished, but I'll show them off when they are!
